This painting was created using watercolors and is approximately 5″x7″. While searching for the perfect spot to pull over and eat lunch, my partner and I came across this amazing view of Lower Falls. Along the left ridge you can still see snow, which covered higher points of the park. In May, the lush green foliage is beginning to emerge among the evergreen tress. Along with herds of bison we saw newborn bears and elk. It was stunning to see life in so many different forms and colors.
