The crested celosia flower and its colorful folds resemble the gyri and sulci of the brain. Looking at this flower made me wonder how our brains process color and texture. Additionally, how do these stimuli bring us pleasure and joy? Could walking through a garden full of color, texture, and smells restore information processing pathways in the brain after a traumatic brain injury?
